So, myself and the rest of the crew running Spring Hill Court.
www. springhillcourt. net took the month of April off in order to stockpile pages and just generally give ourselves a good standing of where the comic was going to be going. Now, our effective deadline as to when the comic will begin updating again begins on May 12th.
In an effect to try and generate some new readership we've started a Deviantart fan page which you can find here [link] deviantart. com/

So for the next few weeks until we our updating again, anyone who joins will be able to have themselves drawn in the style of the comic as a fae, or an original character from the universe.

This would really help us out and all you've gotta do is join the fan community, thanks guys!

News and SHC

Journal Entry: Sat Apr 26, 2008, 9:37 AM
Comic-con was AWESOME. I was intending to do a much longer journal post at some point but I feel the word awesome sums it up. I met a lot of really cool people and had a real blast. If anyone wants to check out photos from them to see various photos of cos-playing and me posing and smiling sort of absent mindedly with people, feel free to check that out over here [link]

IN OTHER NEWS

SHC is around midway through it's hiatus. I'm stockpiling pages and trying to be as prepared as I can. I'm gonna try and have at least 1 or 2 new pin-ups thrown in between before we go officially back up in May. And speaking of which, we now have an SHC club on Deviantart, CHECK IT OUT! :iconshcfanclub:

Getting there

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 31, 2008, 10:35 PM
Been working like crazy as of late. Both comic wise and the job that I get actual money from. I'm getting moved off my old shift at the house I've been working at to a new house a little farther away doing the night shift. This is awesome for a variety of reasons, my sleep schedule will hopefully adjust itself to something where I'm getting more than 3 hours a night, and with the night shift comes having upwards of 6 hours of downtime to myself a night to get some new art done. I am more than okay with this and can't wait until this transfer goes through.

Spring Hill Court is taking a month long hiatus, however I'm gonna be trying to update with some new character art and some of the concept work that has literally filled the majority of a drawer in my room. I've also been doing some work on a personal project in what limited spare time I have. Woohoo! NY Comic-Con is getting closer and closer and I'm really trying to have a solid portfolio ready. Here's hoping..

Hey, at the moment I'm really just trying to gun out as much as I can content wise..so if anyone has an idea for something they'd like to see me draw, just throw it my way. Could always go for something a little new!
